A little about the process...
For several years I had been contemplating how to take my 'box' forms off the wall and create sculptures with the same aesthetics. That became my goal while a resident at the Anderson Ranch Art Center where I began working in the round. I've continued to develop sculptural forms and work both on and off the wall. Slab-construction is my building method, usually fired to Cone 6.
